Hii I really love your writing style since Taesan has been looking a lil too captivating these days I was wondering if you could turn this small fantasy into a short story 😭❤️

What I envision is like a sweet yet quite boy who likes to tease y/n he has a fair amount of friends and a good social group but towards them he’s more jumpy and immature with you he’s has a bubbly like soft persona. He’s mature and treats y/n like a princess. I was hoping you could add your own twist to this (like you were able to do with the heesung story “why didn’t you text back). Also as mature as he is he has a hard time controlling himself around y/n and can become really clingy with lack of attention. 🧃

Okay so I’m assuming this is roommate!ruffilo that you’re more than friends with but not dating(?) so I’m going off of that

Roommate Ruffilo is genuinely so sweet. He’d always make you coffee in the morning when he makes his. You’d typically join him on the balcony and enjoy your coffee together while he has a smoke. It’s typically not a surprise if you walk out of your room in the mornings wearing one of his hoodies you stole from him while he was away on tour (you have four or five of them in your closet) and he just smiles and shakes his head when he sees you in them.

He’s pretty quiet for the most part. Your relationship with him is basically black cat and orange cat energy. He’s the shy reserved one, but will always listen and entertain you because you like yapping to him and get bored easily sometimes. He thinks it’s cute listening to you ramble. If you ask if you can braid his hair, he’s saying yes and sitting between your legs on the floor so you can braid it. If you’re outside, he lets you put flowers into the braids.

You typically take turns cooking, occasionally you’ll help each other. If he cooks, you do dishes and vice versa. If you do actually make anything together, is usually dessert. Then you both do dishes (one washing, the other drying and putting them away). Usually on those nights, you’ll sit on the couch together watching a new anime one of you found. It’s not uncommon to find the two of you sitting on the couch with your legs in his lap or one of you cuddled up to the other (he loves to cuddle into you, he thinks you’re soft and warm).

It’s also not uncommon to just lay in bed together if one of you gets bored and wants to just chill with the other. Usually it does end up with the two of you cuddling and showing each other memes you find. Neither of you are surprised if the other falls asleep on them. You’re comfortable with each other.

He ALWAYS asks you if it’s okay if the guys can come over, because the space is just as much yours as it is his. And you give him the same courtesy. If it’s someone you’re both friends with you’d just be like “I’m inviting xxxx over” and you’re both typically chill with it.

On days he knows you’re not feeling good or are just not in the best mood, he’ll leave a small gift bag outside your door with your favorite snack and a singular rose he got from the flower shop to make you feel better. When you say thank you, you end up hugging him longer than usual. He never complains because he loves having you in his arms, but won’t ever admit that to you.

And don’t think he doesn’t steal anything from you, because he does. He will very much steal your hair clips, hair ties, headbands and scrunchies for his own hair. From where he gets lost in drawing or working on something he doesn’t want his hair in the way at all. Especially if he’s cooking. He will casually grab the hair tie off your wrist without saying anything about it if you’re just sitting there watching him so he can tie it back while he cooks.

He also offers to give you tattoos when it’s around your birthday, holidays or just because you’re both bored. You don’t take him up on it 7/10 of the time because you like thinking pieces though, but you do have a couple he has done for you.

Rarely if he’s drunk, he is very cuddly and much more extroverted. He’s laying on you, saying random shit and just giggly. He will just casually mention that he wants to kiss you but forgets he said it the next morning. He falls asleep on you every single time.

One last thing, he can and will scare the shit out of you by jumping out at you from around the corner

He’s probably a sucker for this kind of fashion. As in, to see on his lover. You look so pretty in pleated V-neck sweaters and tie.

NRC has a pretty preppy kind of uniform given to the students, it’ll only change depending on how the students wear the uniform, seeing your well ironed tie straight and pleated skirt or pants crisp and neat makes him pretty smitten surprisingly, especially when it comes to you.

He doesn’t mind joining in, hell, he probably has a somewhat prep aesthetic stuff in his wardrobe without even realising it sometimes, it just comes to him naturally although he definitely doesn’t have any aesthetic preference and just wears whatever.

But prep is definitely in there.

You two can be a matching couple outside of school, wearing prep and somewhat prep (I’m sure you know who’s who) and you guys just look super cute together that Trey, for once, feels a bit of an ego boost in him as he smirks to himself. <3

Jamil Viper

Always saw him with the street dancer kind of aesthetic, which is probably a bit more rugged and casual which is why you two come as a complete contrast with one another.

But still, Jamil digs your prep aesthetic even if he doesn’t like wearing that aesthetic on himself, he thinks it makes you look cute.

Besides, the two of you somehow make it work when you’re out in the open, some guy in a baggy hoodie, baggy long pants and sneaker heads while he’s out linking hands with his significant other wearing a headband, sweater vest and polished loafers.

Still, you two are absolutely adorable as a couple inside out, your completely different taste in fashion makes you two stand out in a good way! Wouldn’t mind trying your kind of aesthetic, it looks pretty good on him when he checks himself in the mirror after dressing him up. He hopes you enjoy the baggy hoodies though because he personally wouldn’t mind lending you his. <3

Honestly, Vil thinks your prep aesthetic is perfect even if he’s the kind to wear those V-necks and have “pretty boy” aesthetic, he also likes wearing prep clothing and wouldn’t mind joining you on the matching aesthetic thing when you two go out.

Sometimes he shops with you for clothing that fits your whole prep aesthetic and the best kinds. This man’s fashion taste is god-tier. Any kind of aesthetic he can pull off and has expertise in knowing what is best to wear for any kind.

evbo meets a little friend!

alright you already know the drill, time for a yap session

his eyes are just rectangles (oblongs?) here since i wanted to incorporate that specific aspect of evbo's skin into the design. it also kinda serves to make him look more... animalistic? he's a bird, so i really like this look for him

the song i listened to while designing him was to the sky

another inspiration i had for this design was meteion since she's probably one of my favourite designs in ffxiv

he's somewhat based off a conure/hummingbird! their colours are similar at least and hummingbirds have incredible control over their flight so yeah, that's him

but if you asked me to pick between those two for like, an actual bird form, he'd be a hummingbird. again, because they're super agile but this is what i imagine what he sounds like when he snores

related to that: all of his colours were made warmer on purpose, really colourful birds usually come from tropical regions so this was a way to reflect that a little bit

no boots, just netherite scales on his legs and hands (claw? talons?) because i thought it would be cool. so these things can't be taken off, they're part of his body

the knee pads can though, those pop on and off like magnets

he can't actually fly, but he can glide and it helps with adjusting the trajectory of his jumps and it negates the need for water bucket clutches if he times his wingbeats right (so i guess this makes it closer to an elytra? it might be interesting if he figured out how to use fireworks)

instead of having tail feathers coming off his body, i thought it would be a cooler visual to have his headband become his tail. so... that's' another thing he can't take off his body now!

the things he can take off are his hoodie and pants

pants are worn as usual, but the hoodie has a giant hole in the back for him to slip into so he doesn't have to pull things over his wings

speaking of his tail feathers, they're based off peacock feathers since he's kind of a show of lmao, the 'eyes' on them are a nod to him being the parkour god since i did something similar for acg's design with his head wing, evbo's markings are pretty much just that. markings, so he can't see through them or anything

not visible because it's being covered up, his chest is fluffy! i just think it would be cute and i'll take literally any excuse to add more fluff to a character because it brings me that much joy

also this is the first iteration i had of bird evbo's design, look at this little guy

the green highlights were cool here, but they kinda just ended up blending in with the rest of his hoodie/body so i decided not to do that

i made him fuzzier in the full piece too because i can

his ears were changed to be wings since these ones were too similar to my previous evbo design

headband tail feathers have been part of the vision since the start, but these ones here were pretty much just slapped on without too much thought about what they actually look like

now i don't usually share unfinished work on its own but these two have been sitting in my drafts for weeks now so... here's another little guy!

a short knock at your front door catches your attention from your incomplete essay. you let out a small annoyed sigh as you pull yourself away from your computer, opening the door just enough to see who's bothering you so late at night.

niki stands on the other side holding a small bouquet of flowers. you gasp, throwing the door open. “surprise,” he smiles. you’re quick to throw your arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug as you tug him backwards into your apartment. 

niki laughs as he sets the flowers on a nearby counter before he snakes his arms around your waist. you bury your head into his neck to fully take everything in. after months apart while niki was on tour you relish in the feeling of wrapping your arms around him. 

“i missed you.” the words are muffled against niki’s hoodie as you pull him even closer. 

“i missed you too, baby,” he whispers. you blink back tears from your eyes as you pull back just long enough to press your lips against his in a sweet kiss. niki brings a hand up to cup your cheek, wiping away a stray tear as he leans down to press another peck against your lips. “come on. we can order food and cuddle.” 

your smile matches his as you nod, eagerly pulling him along to sit down on your couch. “order something good. i’ll pick the movie. i have an idea.” 

niki pulls out his phone to scroll through a few apps in search of takeout. he can hear you rummaging through a cabinet somewhere before you return with your arms full of a variety of skincare products and a few blankets.

you drape one of the blankets over his shoulders before throwing one over your legs as you make yourself comfortable in the space next to him. “pizza?” 

“sure.” you reach forwards to grab the tv remote, cueing up a random slasher you’ve seen a few times over. it’s one in a series of movies - enough to keep you occupied for most of the night while you catch up with your boyfriend. 

niki holds his phone up to his ear, making an order for a few boxes of pizza before wrapping an arm around your waist as you nuzzle against his chest. he sets his phone down on the coffee table once he finishes placing the order. “we’re watching scream?” he reads, tugging you closer. “again?” 

“it’s a good movie,” you shrug. niki leans down to press a quick kiss against your forehead as you press play. he tugs the blanket up over your shoulder as the movie begins. 

you’re about halfway through the movie when there’s another knock at your door. niki coaxes you off of his body as he pulls out a few bills of cash to hand to the delivery man, taking the boxes from him in return. “thank you!” he calls as he closes the door. 

he sets the boxes down on your coffee table before making himself comfortable next to you again. it tastes good in your mouth as you share the meal together in a comfortable silence.

the first scream movie has finished playing by the time you finish eating. scream two cues up as you stand to wash the grease off of your hands before returning to the couch, now sitting across from niki. you brush his bangs out of his face before slipping a headband onto his head to keep the hair back. 

“you have to do this with me,” niki murmurs, grabbing the second headband you brought to push your own hair back. he closes his eyes as you reach forwards to gently massage the cool clay mask against his skin. his eyes flutter open once you finish, staring into your own for a second before he takes the jar from you. 

despite expecting the cold feeling of the mask, you still flinch a little when it touches your skin. niki’s hand are gentle and slow as he paints it across your skin as if he’s scared you’ll break if he touches you too roughly. 

the sound of niki screwing the lid back onto the jar is your cue that he’s finished. you open your eyes once again, smiling a little at him. he tilts your chin up to quickly lean forwards to press a small peck against your lips. 

you aren’t given time to complain before he opens his arms, coaxing you to lay back against his chest. you take the opportunity as soon as it arrives. niki feels warm as you cuddle against him. he rubs a hand against your back as you reach forwards to set a timer on your phone before refocusing your attention on the movie still playing in front of you. 

twenty minutes pass by quicker than you expected. “can i talk now?” niki whispers. you chuckle, nodding as you shift upwards to help him. he closes his eyes as you peel the now-solidified mask off of his face before repeating the process with you.

niki brushes his fingers against your cheek, studying your features. “your skin is so smooth.” he runs his index finger along your jawline before tugging you closer into another sweet kiss. you let yourself get lost in his touch. each brush of his hands against your own feels like it’s setting the skin on fire in their trace. 

you only dare to pull away once the need for air becomes suffocating. niki’s face is slightly flushed a light pink. you smile brightly at him, losing time in the deep brown of his eyes. 

you shift to lean back against niki’s chest so your head is positioned over his heartbeat. “i love you,” you whisper. you can feel his heartbeat speed up, making your lips quirk upwards in a small smile. 

despite having been friends for years before you officially began going out and spending so much time together as a couple, you still manage to make him nervous. “i love you too.” niki’s voice is quieter than your own. it’s rare that you say those words aloud. you cherish the memory, listening as his heart slowly relaxes once again. your lips quirk upwards into a small smile as you let niki’s heartbeat lull you to sleep.

wraith: big loose fitting clothes that conceal a layer of body armor. they let him move and give him a bigger silhouette than he actually has and look deceptively weak? you go to kick a guy in a hoodie and your foot hits a kevlar vest instead. whisperer cape is a must. i dont think he knows the similarity. william was never big into capes i think if he ever saw anything of the whisperer it was only in passing and not enough to stick in his mind. full-face mask (which i would assume is like.... built into the hood somehow? to keep it up on his head better as hes moving), undecided on whether he would keep his hair fully covered or let some of it out from under the hood. i think at first his costume would be white with blue accents ("ghostly" vibes without being too scary) but as time goes on i think it would be cool if it got darker and darker until the white parts have gone from grey-dark grey-black (idk how that would work mechanically but. nudges greyscale implications)

failsafe: HONESTLYYYYY I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE FOR HIM SO FAR. crop top is essential. failsafe has way more skin showing than imprint. i think hed keep his knuckles/forearms taped bc his fighting style is very physical? i know dakotas whole thing is kicks only but i think failsafe should get to punch things super hard too like cmon. hes got the likee.... headband mask . i like what u have for him a lot. i think his pants are a lot like wraiths thing where theyre loose and mobile but hes wearing armor under them.

imprint: tactical. his stuff is mostly black i dont think he would budge on that for anything. i do think he should have skin showing like. in case they get caught off guard by a fight i dont think hed want to take the time to have to pull off sleeves or gloves or whatever in case he needed to use his powers in a snap. i DO however think he has gloves just for convenience's sake. but i think he keeps specific body parts uncovered? majority of his arms for sure. he has the half-face mask. idk if this is something the prt would necessarily allow but i think he has a lot of straps and belts and things for holding weapons. i feel like hes trained in so many ways to fight he would probably always want at least a knife or gun on him at all times. the purple accents were the PR teams additions so he wouldnt be totally black. since he wanted to keep his shitty dyed purple hair, theyd at least make the costume match so it looked somewhat cohesive and intentional

OH YEAH u didnt ask abt tide but its very important to me that his costume is like a wetsuit. i havent made my post about tide and wetsuits yet but i think abt him a lot. also i think the ear fins are cosmetic and not a result of weird clone things but i do think he should keep them bc i think theyre cute. ive been imagining wavelengths costume pretty much the exact same as in pd . and i have. no ideas for auxiliary but whenever i think abt him i think abt ur timeline art so thats canon 2 me

Langa & Reki, please, for the ask game...

I'm just gonna answer these two characters together! 🌈❄

My first impression: Thought those two were the cutest. Saw Reki's skate against Shadow and thought "Oh, he has heart. I'm gonna like that one." Shadow did him so dirty though!! With Langa, I just thought he looked like he would be a quiet one.

My impression now: I definitely adore them both. Reki is my favorite character and Langa follows after.

Favorite thing about that character: Besides their personalities, I like their aesthetics. Reki's style is really colorful and I'm a sucker for colors. His hoodies are too cute and I love that his headband's expressions will match his. Langa's ice theme, I like that! Especially since it leans more on the blues and there's some black thrown in there. It matches how they are. I love that while Reki is a bit on the fiery side, his character isn't heavy with the fire/sun symbolism. Instead, it's the rainbow and hibiscus. With Langa, he's ice themed, but he isn't a cold person. He's "cool" to others, he's calm.

Least favorite thing: They made me so frustrated during their whole falling out. I hate that Reki can be so self-deprecating sometimes and I wanted to shake Langa for wanting to still skate against Adam.

Favorite line/scene: Hard to choose when it comes to these two. They have so many great scenes together. To choose I have to go with when they finally make back up and decide to add the Infinity symbol to their handshake. That was too cute! But I also like their scene where Reki pretends to be in distress and Langa is like "Don't worry, bae. I'll protect you."

Favorite interaction that character has with another: Other than with each other, I adore how they interact with the rest of the SK8 squad. Especially with Miya. To choose an interaction, I gotta go with the scene after Reki's rematch with Adam and they just pile on him to make sure he's okay and he's smiling and laughing. Love that.

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: Ooh, so many options here actually. To pick... okay, I would like to see more of Reki and Langa's time working with Oda. Like, how does Oda deal with those two when they're working at the skate shop. I'm sure they get into a lot of shenanigans. 😆

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: I actually made a post about this for Reki! He and Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen are like the same person, but in different genres. Hoodie wearing redheads, bright smiles, and have recognized skill that makes amazes others when they do show off those skills, yet often underestimated. Langa reminds me of Shoto Todoroki, especially after the Sports Festival. Ice people who aren't actually cold, love their mamas, talented pretty boys, and have a signature food they like.

A headcanon about that character: Okay, I ended up writing a whole series about this one! I headcanon that Reki likes to let Koyomi paint his nails from time to time. He likes colors and he doesn't mind Koyomi using him for practice. It's also nice to spend quality time with his sister and see her do something she likes. Sometimes, he'll even ask her to paint his nails blue to match Langa, who likes the idea of Reki wearing his color.

A song that reminds of that character: Shawn Wasabi's Animal Crossing. It's such a cute song! And of course, Infinity by Yuuri will always be their song. I can't think of a Langa song, but for Reki, Alessia Cara's My Kind comes to mind.

An unpopular opinion about that character: I actually didn't feel "queerbaited" at the end of the first season. Some people threw out "queerbait" because we didn't see LanReki kiss. Kiss? I was gonna ship them regardless of the ending. We at least were left to interpretation if their relationship is platonic or romantic. I don't think a ship should always be confirmed through a kiss because kissing isn't the only thing romantic couples do. They hold hands, call each other nicknames, hug, tells the other person that they make them happy, etc. Kissing isn't the only gesture used to say "I love you".

Favorite picture: There's so many of these two that I can look at all day, but to choose I'm going with these two since I have used them for edits before.

I realized that with the exception of Noel's Taco Bell uniform, we never actually see the choir outside of their school uniforms, so my friend and I came up with some headcanons about what the choir would wear on a casual day.

Constance - Knitted turtleneck sweater, black yoga pants, fuzzy socks, runners with fun-coloured laces.

Mischa - Black hoodie, sweatpants, and of course his iconic backwards hat.

Noel - Sweater vest, button up shirt, and something more along the lines of dress pants. Honestly pretty similar to his school uniform but it just fits him so well.

Ricky - Nerdy T-shirt that is a pretty basic solid colour but has a colourful graphic of his favourite superhero or something, jeans, zip-up hoodie that he almost always leaves undone. (All his clothes are covered in cat hair.)

Ocean - Button up shirt, either jeans or a skirt depending on the weather, Vans, and if it's cold she'll wear a flannel jacket. (I love the idea of Ocean in a flannel jacket and no one can take it away from me.) I also like to think she has one of those cute bow headbands that looks like it's made of tied cloth.

I don't have anything for Penny, I haven't seen Legoland yet so I feel like I'm not qualified enough to create an outfit for her.

Hiiiiiiii Carleeee!!!! Thank you so mf much for the ask! I’m actually so excited to answer this and am so glad you brought the idea to my attention. I’m gonna think of outfits but also treat this like it’s a Hakuouki Sanrio collab- I also wanted to try to use different characters from the ones we usually see with Sanrio collabs.

Here’s the ideas below:

Chizuru (and consequently Kaoru): Sugarbunnies- Shirousa and Kurousa. They are twins and Kaoru would be Shirousa, the older twin, while Chizuru would be Kurousa, the younger one.

I would dress Chizuru in an oversized, brown sherpa fabric sweaters with pastel pink leggings. The hood of the sweater would have floppy rabbit ears with pink detailing. They’d both wear pink converses. Kaoru would wear a similar outfits but the sweater being white with darker pink accents. I love Sugarbunnies, they’re so cute and also Kiki and Lala aren’t the only pair of twins from Sanrio!!

Hijikata: I wanted to pick a character that isn’t used much but I think Kuromi would be really cute! He’d probably refuse to wear anything too cutesy but might let me put him in a purple button up shirt. He’d just wear white pants but I’ll be damned if he doesn’t wear a Kuromi headband!! Specifically, I’d have him dress like the purple variant of her. She’s a little mischievous so I think he’s be on her ass lmao.

Okita: Masyumaro! Souji HAD to get a cat character! I think he’d wear white pants with a white, slightly larger, button up shirt. One top of the button up, would be a large, orange sweater vest. To emulate his bow, he’d would wear shoes of the same color. Ofc he’s in cat ears. You’ll find I’ll add animal ears to any given outfit in this.

Saitou: Hangyodon!! I desperately want more merch of this character and of Saitou! I would put him in a onsie of him too- it’d be really cute haha. Like Saitou, he doesn’t express a lot of emotion. Like Saitou, he’s still super cute. :)

Harada: Hanamaruobake!!! Omg! It’s be so so cute! He’s a little white ghost who treasures his giant red, pencil. He matches Sano’s color pallet perfectly and even has something that resembles his weapon. Hanamaruobake is shy but he really likes superheroes and loves encouraging his friends. He and Sano have the latter in common! I also think he’d think Sano was cool! Anyways, I’d dress him in themed t-shirt of him! He might wear red pants with it but I’d mostly want to give him a headband with a cherry on it to look like Hanamaruobake’s.

Heisuke: Usahana!!! Omg it’d be so cute and it’s not just ‘cause she and Heisuke are my favorites. She is so special to me! Her story is that she wanted to go play on a rainbow by a lighthouse but kept stopping to help her friends. After doing this, she saw all of her limbs were a different color of the rainbow! Her favorite season is summer and she loves sunflowers and orange sherbert. I’d throw him in a hoodie that matches her colors- it’s kind of look like one of those color block hoodies. I’d probably put him in normal jeans and yellow socks. As for the bunny ears, he’d DEF have a headband of them. I’d throw the orange flower in his hair just to be silly.

Shinpachi: Kobuta no Pippo!! Mostly because of his green shirt haha! I think I could convince Shin to wear a onsie of this character- mostly if I give him food. Pippo loves surprises, games, and playing with his friends. This reminds me a little of him haha.

Yamazaki: Chococat!!! He’s probably wear a black sweater and black pants and cat ears. I wanna put a blue collar on him like how the mascot has but that felt…odd…so he’ll wear a blue belt. Chococat’s whiskers work almost like antennas and is often the first to know information- I thought because Yamazaki gathers info, it’d be a cute match.

Souma: Little Forest Fellow!!! I’d put him in a matching hat to the characters and a big brown and white sweater!!! He’d also have a charm of the little guy somewhere. I think he’s think the little dude is so so cute.

Iba: Cogimyun! He’s think she’s so cute! She a flour fairy that wants to be a rice all! She crumbles into a pile of powder when she’s upset. He would be very protective of her!!! I don’t exactly know how I’d style him- I think I’d put him in matching headpieces to hers. I think I’d just have him in a white shirt.

Sakamoto: Chibimaru! He’s a cute lil puppy. Put that man in puppy ears rn!!! I think he’d just wear a brown jacket and a shirt themed to the character! He’d also wear normal pants.

Kazama: Lloromannic! I was going to choose them for Chizuru and Kaoru, but I think I’d just give Kazama both of them. They are also demons. He’s probably wear black to match them and a top hat with wings to look like Cherry, the pink one!! He’d also have horns like Berry, the black one. Now that I think about it more, it would have been really cute to use them for the oni twins but it’s okay.

Who wants to see some old cringe selfies of vintage millennial fashion?

So, the backstory behind most of these pics is way back in 2010 I got a job at Target for a few months and during that time most days I had to wear a red top with khakis as my work uniform and I very quickly started to get bored with the monotony. So I decided to do some bathroom photoshoots of the different outfits I had at the time besides the red tops I was wearing every day. I pretty much don't have a single one of these articles of clothing anymore, except for a couple of necklaces. Most of these I think I got rid of because I gained a lot of weight after I got a car, if not because my tastes evolved or they fell apart on me.

This first collage is a bunch of all black outfits.

The scarf I'm wearing in the first one was a souvenir my sister got me from the gift shop at Alcatraz when she was on a school trip. It's got a fake stamp printed on it that says "Rejected: Too Cute".

Second outfit, I think I got from Forever 21, both the dress and the thigh high boots.

Third outfit was probably mostly made of JCPenny pieces. I used to wear it to a lot of job interviews, not that it helped because the job market sucked almost as much back then as it does today. Also, those heels were from Payless and although they were cute, they were absolute murder on my flat feet. I held onto that tie for a long time with no shirt to wear it with because they don't really even make women's blouses anymore that button all the way up and even when they do, I can't wear them because all button-up blouses gape on me. Also, can't really find vests anymore, for that matter.

Fourth outfit I think I got from Value Village.

First outfit bottom row came from Kohl's and I bought it after only looking at the hanger and not the actual tag, but despite the dress being an XS and me wearing a medium at the time, it miraculously stretched far enough to fit, so I kept it.

The off-shoulder top I got from a local retailer that is actually still in business today with a handful of locations that have shifted to different suites around town over the years, but never shut down.

The velvet outfit I believe was either a hand-me down or an old church outfit that used to be knee length before I cropped it into a hi-low skirt.

All of these outfits by the way I wore in my late teens and early 20s to school and walking around town before I had a car. Nothing I own now or have ever owned is a date outfit because I don't go on dates.

First outfit in this teal/turquoise set is probably my most cringe. That headband was really ugly with my short hair, and I don't think that long top over a short skirt and cropped hoodie combo was a good look.

The top from the second pic came from a gift shop at Niagra Falls from a school trip I went on my junior year of high school. It originally had black felt ribbons, but the first time I washed it I didn't realize the ribbons weren't sewn on, so they came off and got destroyed, so I replaced them with turquoise ribbons that were sewn on.

Third top I'm pretty sure came from Gottschalks before it went bankrupt and got replaced by a Forever 21, if that doesn't carbon date me like the fossil I am.

The top in the first two pics on the bottom row I used to normally wear with a pair of black jeggings. Hear me out though, these were not yoga pants with a fake denim print slapped on top, they actually had texture like real jeans and I think a button and zipper even. The pockets were still fake, but they were actually sewn-in faux-pockets like they have on normal pants, not a print. They were basically just very thin, very elastic form-fitting jeans I wore so I could have a smoother silhouette under long shirts. I actually still own the necklace I'm wearing with that top, but I never wear silver anymore, so it's getting donated soon.

Last dress in the teal set is another piece I got from the same place my off-shoulder top came from. I might've even gotten them at the same time.

First top I got from a specialty online goth fashion shop. I actually didn't have my own credit/debit card at the time because I was still in high school, but my sister told me if I gave her money and she didn't think it was cringe/inappropriate for school, I could show her things I wanted to buy online and she'd get them for me. So that star top was one of the things I got along with the goggles and fingerless gloves seen in other pics, and an assortment of other accessories from when I was deep in my Hot Topic Mall Goth Invader Zim-core aesthetic phase.

The corset I'm wearing in the next three photos had no boning in it, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear, except for the fact that it didn't stay in place or hold its shape like a corset should. I got that corset from a local retailer that closed down, in a mall that has since become a dead mall.

In the middle row, I believe I got both the top and the cardigan from Forever 21.

The brown outfit in the middle of the middle I think I got from JCPenny, except the green top, which came from Forever 21. Shoes might've come from Payless. That was my second go-to job interview outfit and I miss it a lot. I tried looking for those pieces on Poshmark once so I could recreate it. But it turns out the brown top and skirt actually came from the junior's section, so there's no way even the largest size I could find it in would fit me now.

I think the silky green skirt and the green sweater in the next couple of pics also came from Forever 21.

The butterfly top on the bottom row I think came from the same store where I got my corset. I don't wear heels anymore, but I also don't wear converse anymore either because zero arch support is just as uncomfortable as heels on my flat feet. I don't wear headbands either because they aren't comfortable anymore. Every one I try just squeezes my skull too much.

The green bustier-looking top is another one of my most cringe outfits because it was constantly rolling up.

The next top after it is also pretty cringe, cause it's just an unflattering shade of neon green.

The last outfit was one of my most frequently worn from late high school and throughout college. I used to wear it with a pair of dangly guitar-pick shaped GIR earrings that my sister got me when she went on a trip and got to visit a Hot Topic before we had one locally. At some point I swapped out the GIR earrings for a pair of zipper pull earrings because my sister told me the GIR earrings don't go with the rest of the jewelry I wore with it.

The navy crop jacket was another Forever 21 piece, and I think I got those agonizingly painful booties from there too.

Then there's my Butch Girl Style Icon Dib Membrane shirt that I had to alter to fit right because it only came in a men's size.

The next outfit below was a hand-me down velvet shirt/jacket thing that I turned into a dress.

Last outfit is probably my oldest. I think most of its components I got as far back as middle school, and I think they were hand-me downs even then.

I used to love that purple cardigan until it got stretched the fuck out in the wash. I think it came from the same place as the off-shoulder top and the teal dress.

The next top I believe was another Gottchalks piece I might've had as far back as middle school. It used to be a hideous brown/olive green until I dyed it, but it was already getting threadbare even then.

The purple cowl-neck outfit I think I also got from the same place as the purple cardigan.

Last outfit is another one of my most cringe outfits with yet another overlaying piece that rolled up all the time.

Closeups of some necklaces I wore in some of the above pics. I actually still have the black flower necklace, but that's another one that's getting donated soon because I don't wear silver anymore. I totally forgot it used to have another black chunky chain attached before I removed it. The soda tab necklace I made myself and painted with nail polish. I actually made several necklaces and bracelets out of soda tabs, some of which I handed out to my friends.

Bonus:

Me in one of many iterations of a black belted jacket I've worn throughout the years. I don't have this specific jacket anymore, but once I started wearing them, I've never not owned a long, black belted jacket as my main staple piece of outer wear. So I've never really escaped my Zim-core roots.

This pic was taken by somebody at my college paper. They saw me waiting for classes to start and wanted a picture of me for an article on fashion. I got a few copies to show my family, but they also posted the article online. Not a lot of people saw it and there were only a couple of comments, but none of them mentioned my outfit and one of them said something to the effect of "None of these outfits are in style and the writer of his article has no business giving out fashion advice cause everyone knows Alaskans are always 5-10 years out of date on the trends".

Giacomo: The easiest to make! I knew he would want a "dark edge" to him, but ultimately would wear something simply and comfortable. So I gave him a hoodie with a biker jacket over it.

Mela: it's kinda just team Star uniform except less *gestures vaguely* that. The spikes under up being her theme. I should have given her a spike hairband dammit. Ah well. Tbh, I'm not 100 on this look, but it's the best I could find up with.

Atticus: I posted that image on a separate post, but I wanted everyone to be together so. Yeah. I genuinely like what I did for his look. I feel like even in more casual clothing, Atticus would want to appear nor nimble. I also think the asymmetry of his design compliments him well.

Ortega: I'm be 100% honest with you, I feel like I got Ortega's essence down to a T while also feel like I completely missed my mark here. Wanted to give him a rich school boy look, which I do think I did well! But like....I dunno. It's not....camp(?) enough? I mean it doesn't have to be, but I feel like something's missing. Anyway, have him goggles cause he probably needs them for his machines and the gloves are actually apart of a hc of mine( Ortega wears his gloves for different reasons- texture, touch repulsed, scars, tinkering, whatever. Haven't exactly picked the ones I want for my au)

Eri: My goal was her to look sporty and cute and I think I pulled it off well. My favorite addition was the leg warmers, I feel like it brings everything together. Nothing much to say here other than I maybe should have given her the spiked headband. It could have been a tiara for her. Dammit.

I recently got the magical archives book and there is a lot of character design art in it for like all the characters and theres little notes in there so I just wanted to post it so if you want to use it for art reference or something its here haha.

Disclaimer: This book is in japanese. I do not speak japanese lmao. I tried my hardest to piece together things based off of what google translate said as well as context but if I translated something wrong feel free to correct me and i’ll update this haha.:

Alrighty scarabia time!!!! Here is the Scarabia dorm uniform modeled by Jamil lmao:

I really like the scarabia uniform tbh. The belt is twisted so that the design on the part that hangs down stays facing outwards 

Kalim Al-Asim 

Kalim has a headband for PE and wears the jacket around his waist with the t-shirt sleeves rolled up. also its interesting how he keeps his earrings in while previously it said that jade and floyd take theirs out. interesting lil detail ig

Kalim wears his lab coat open and his goggles around his neck

Kalim’s dorm outfit has quite a bit going on but its so cool lol. His belt actually like, goes over his shoulder which is an interesting detail.

baby. baby boy. the notes mention that his earrings are very dangly. It also mentioned how his face is a little similar to Ace which i can kind of see. he’s so cute i cry. 

Jamil Viper

Jamil’s got a hoodie type thing instead of the normal PE uniform jacket and shirt, but he still wears the normal pants.

Jamil wears his hoodie under his lab coat. love that for him honestly i bet its comfy.

Holy shit Jamil is so pretty lmao. The notes say he’s got small eyes, and even without make up his eyes are fairly dark and have an eyeliner sort of look, he also has three braids in his hair and throughout his hair he has a few little gold hair bead things and good god his hair is LONG. Also that one picture of him that looks real mischievous has the note “Jaffar’s face when he is being ill-mannered” and i just thought that was funny.

Anyways thats it for Scarabia! A bit shorter than the other dorms but to be fair theres only two of them lmao. I’ll probably post Pomefiore and possibly Ignihyde tomorrow (Ignihyde isn’t actually too short because ortho has like, hella pages lmao) 

also, Jamil is the last character in the book who has overblot design concepts so i may post his along with Riddle, Leona, and Azul’s in a separate post sometime in the future!
